Instructor Capacity Development Program 2026 Air War College
Air Vice Marshal Prapard Iamolee, Commandant of the Air War College, presided over the opening remark of the “Instructor Capacity Development Program 2026.” The program aims to enhance the knowledge, skills, and competencies of instructors and educational personnel in accordance with the evolving trends of 21st century education. It also supports the continuous improvement of instructional quality in alignment with the Royal Thai Air Force’s vision of “Unbeatable Air Force.”
The training was honored by distinguished speakers. The first was Air Vice Marshal Dr. Naputr Gawnak, National Researcher (since 1995), as the keynote speaker on the topic “AWC: Instructor Role (DS).”The lecture focused on developing instructional competencies in three main areas: Instructional Design, Teaching and Learning Management and Strategic Leadership Development. The second speaker, Group Captain (Female) Assistant Professor Wanlapa Andara, Director of the Royal Thai Air Force Nursing College, provided guidance on educational psychology and its application in the DS role.
Additionally, the program included an experience-sharing session for Directing Staff (DS) from the war colleges of all three armed forces, as well as the Joint Staff College.
This personnel potential development program is another significant activity reflecting the Air War College's commitment to continuous human resource development. It aims to create qualified educational personnel as "Strategic New-Era Teachers" who can effectively design and manage learning processes, while also inspiring the holistic development of learners, thereby serving as a vital force in sustainably advancing the educational mission of the Royal Thai Air Force.
