Special Lecture on “Drones: A New Form of Aerial Threat” by Air Chief Marshal Supijjarn Thammawattaseree
Air Chief Marshal Supijjarn Thammawattaseree delivered a special lecture entitled “Drones: A New Form of Aerial Threat” to the students of the National Defence College (Class 60) on Monday, 23 February 2026, at 1300 hours.
The lecture covered the evolution of drone employment in military operations and terrorism, Anti-Drone systems, and significant case studies drawn from real-world situations.
Participants gained in-depth knowledge of emerging aerial threats, enhanced their understanding of the evolving landscape of drone warfare and its implications for national security, and were able to apply these insights to strategic analysis and the development of effective response and mitigation strategies for future threats.
